Here we will display tributes to those in our lives who have been exemplary MOTHERS!

Jen writes...

I am a mother of five. My husband and I both have full custody of our kids and my stepchildren.... Its been a rollercoaster for 9 years but well worth everyday. My stepson is 16, my daughter is 15, my stepdaughter is 14 and then we have 2 together a 6 year old and a 2 year old. We were both active duty military until 3 years ago when the military retired me due to back issues. .... I am now permanently disabled because of my back but still am a full time mom no matter how bad I feel.

Christopher says:

My mom is the second best mom in the world. She has two children who she takes care of all by herself. She works and cooks and cleans for us. Sometimes she yells because we forget our chores. Even after she yells at us she still loves us because sometimes she does the chores we were supposed to do. I love my mom so much. She works so hard so we can have our own place to live in. We don't have a lot but we have lots more than other kids have. I say my mom is the second best mom in the world because if she was the best best best mom she would be the mother of Jesus. But she is very close. Her name is Mary too.

David says:

Saturday mornings my mom makes pancakes with syrupy smiley faces.
Once a week she takes me to the movies and I get to buy popcorn.
No other lady could compare to my mom. She is so cool.
You probably wish she was your mom. But I don't want to share.
And she loves me very much. And I love her too.

My mom's name is Sonya. She is so good to me. She lets me pick out any cereal I want to for breakfast. One day we ran out of cereal and she got in her car and when she came back she had the exact cereal I like. I will never forget how nice she is to me.

~~**~~ We thank you, David ~~**~~
